curzon ashton 2 1000x500Two weeks ago, our home game against Cardiff City in the Professional Development League was moved to a behind closed doors venue (Turf Moor) just 24 hours after the club had confirmed it would be played at Curzon Ashton, and today, at even shorter notice, tomorrow’s home game against Crystal Palace has also been moved to prevent supporters from watching.

We’d made our arrangements to go to Curzon Ashton for the game but this morning the club have revealed that it will now be played at Gawthorpe and have stressed that it will be behind closed doors so we will not be attending the fixture.

No explanation has been given and we are still awaiting any confirmation of the venues for the next two home games against Millwall and Bolton on 10th and17th September. The home game against Hull is scheduled to be played at Curzon Ashton at 2 p.m. on Monday 24th September and could be our first opportunity to see the under-23s in action this season.
