Back to Hyde for Brownhill

Kyle Brownhill, who was a member of our development squad during the 2013/14 season, has signed for National League North club Hyde United after being released at AFC Telford.

Left-back Brownhill was signed by the Clarets from Stockport in August 2013 but was released in the following April. After a summer looking for a new club, he joined the then named Hyde after a successful trial but by November he’d moved on loan to Telford where he spent three months before returning to Hyde.

That led to him making the move to Telford a permanent one last summer but, after failing to establish himself in the first team, he was released and has now returned to Ewen Fields to play for the club who are, once more, known as Hyde United.
