1718 burnley phil bardsley 02 1000x500Phil Bardsley has deputised for Matt Lowton in the games against Bournemouth, Leicester City and Watford and now looks likely to line up for a fourth Premier League game for us against his former club Stoke City.

“Lowts has a chance but I am not so sure,” Dyche said in today’s press conference. “Possibly improbable I would say for this, but he is close.

There is better news on Ben Mee though. He was ruled out for the first time this season with Kevin Long deputising against Watford. Dyche said on the potential return of his central defender: “Ben Mee has got a chance but we have to make a decision because of the nature of it. He was touch and go for the weekend so we will make a decision.”
