Ben Mee’s season could be over but JBG is on his way back
Ben Mee was ruled out of last Saturday’s win at Watford and it is becoming increasingly likely that he won’t play again this season with a shin injury, similar to the one that kept him out at the end of last season.
Manager Sean Dyche said today: “It could possibly be a number of weeks to let it settle down which is a shame as he’s had such a good season. It’s basically a deep bone bruise which he has had before on the other shin, that cost him the last few games of last season. It’s a stress reaction at the bottom of his shin and ankle, so we will see.
Here’s hoping Ben will be back sooner than feared but Jon Walters remains out of the reckoning as he comes back from a long term injury while Scott Arfield and Georges-Kévin NKoudou are doubtful for the Leicester game. There is good news on Jόhann Berg Guðmundsson who has trained all week and could be available.Share this page :
