rj pinglingAs Burnley’s search for new signings continues, one arrival at the beginning of this month passed almost unnoticed and certainly escaped the attention of Up the Clarets.

We have signed 17-year-old left sided player RJ Pingling on what I believe is a one year deal with the left sided player. He has come via an organisation in Croydon called the Kinetic Foundation which is an organisation that was set up to support help young people through providing support and activities which develop their skills, capacity an capabilities to enable them to participate in and integrate into society as independent, mature and responsible individuals.

They’ve certainly had some success in terms of football with Pingling becoming the 16th Kinetic graduate to win a deal with a football club. He’s not the only one to sign for a Premier League club either; Josh Maja joined Sunderland and is now training with the first team and down in the Championship a bright future has been forecast for Myles Kenlock at Ipswich by his manager Mick McCarthy.

Pingling will join up with the club’s youth team for the 2016/17 season as he aims to impress enough to earn a longer deal.
