Clarets face Morecambe in youth league
Burnley will hopefully be back in Youth Alliance League action tomorrow morning with Morecambe due at Gawthorpe for what will be a first league fixture in three weeks and only our fourth in 2017.
We haven’t faced Morecambe this season with the away game now scheduled for two weeks time having previously been postponed but last season’s games against them both ended in victory, two of only six wins all season with Morecambe the only team to end the 2015/16 season below us in the league.
The home game was won 3-2. The first goal that day was an own goal with Tristan Jumeau and Tommy Wood completing the scoring for us and in the return fixture all of Khius Metz, Josh Dolling, Miles Fenton and Tyler Shrimpton found the net in a 4-1 win.
Kick off tomorrow at Gawthorpe is 11 a.m.
