Clarets welcome three new under-23 players
Burnley Football Club have announced the signing of three new players for the under-23 squad this afternoon although two of the signings of two of them have previously been reported on Up the Clarets.
Goalkeeper Aidan Stone has arrived from Brocton FC, joining former team mate Harry Flowers while midfielder Christian N’Guessan has joined us from Blackpool having been part of their successful youth team last season.
But also signing in is 18-year-old midfielder Rahis Nabi (pictured) who has signed from West Brom. He’s one of three brothers who have come through the academy system at The Hawthorns with his brothers Adil and Samir having gone on to play for Peterborough and Carlisle respectively.
Nabi and Stone have both signed one year contracts with the Clarets with the option of a further year in the club’s favour while N’Guessan has committed to a two year deal with the option of a further year, also in the club’s favour.
