County Cup win for Under-23s
Burnley have beaten Barrow 4-0 this afternoon at Gawthorpe in the Lancashire Senior Cup. Dan Agyei scored the first goal and that was followed with a brace from Tinashe Chakwana and a fourth goal from Kai Smith.
Disappointingly, this was the third of four home games this season for the under-23s that has been played behind closed doors which has prevented us from providing any updates or a report. We were only able, earlier this week, to confirm the game was to be played thanks to Barrow AFC.
The Burnley team today was: Adam Bruce, James Clarke, Teddy Perkins, Oliver Younger, Anthony Glennon, Tunde Bayode (Kai Smith 57), Mace Goodridge (Kian Yari 57), Christian N’Guessan, Marley Blair, Dan Agyei (Ali Koiki 64), Tinashe Chakwana, Blair. Subs not used: George McMahon, Ed Cook.
