Defenders are doubts for Palace
There was good news and some not so good news for the Clarets today when Sean Dyche revealed the latest injury situation ahead of the game at Crystal Palace in two days time.
Dyche confirmed that Scott Arfield and Sam Vokes are both in contention having recovered from minor injuries. Arfield has missed the last three games while Vokes was absent last week having come off at Everton with a hamstring injury.
We’ll be forced into one change with the unavailability of Joey Barton but we also have doubts over the left hand side of our defence with Ben Mee and Stephen Ward both uncertain to play. Mee came off at half time against Manchester United with a shin injury and Ward has a knee problem. Dyche has confirmed late decisions will be made with both of them.
