Dummigan extends Oldham stay
Cameron Dummigan will remain with Oldham Athletic for the rest of the 2015/16 season as they battle against relegation from League One.
The Northern Ireland under-21 international right-back first moved to Boundary Park in October when David Dunn was manager and the loan has been extended a couple of times since up to the maximum number of days permitted for an emergency loan. Oldham have now taken him on a full loan until the season’s end.
He made his Oldham debut in a 3-3 draw at Gillingham just over 24 hours after signing for them and has gone on to make a further nine league appearances. His last was a 1-0 defeat at Bradford two weeks ago when he was forced off in the first half with an injury.
New boss John Sheridan said of him: “Cameron is a player who I like and I am chuffed we have signed him until the end of the season.
“He is confident on the ball and has all the attributes to become a very good player.”
