Orient book signingFollowing on from the recent book signing at the club shop at Turf Moor, two Burnley FC authors will be in WH Smith’s tomorrow, Wednesday 13th December, signing copies of their latest books.

Tim Quelch, author of From Orient to the Emirates, will be joined by Dave Thomas, who has recently penned Mud, Sweat and Shears, at the Burnley store on Charter Walk between 4 and 6 p.m. along with former Clarets Mick Docherty, Steve Kindon and Chris Pearce.

It’s the second signing session they’ve done and this will be a final opportunity to get your copies signed ahead of Christmas.

Tim’s book tells the story of how our club declined so swiftly in the 1980s but and then covers the recovery which started with that win against Orient in 1987 all the way through to us enjoying our seasons in the Premier League.

Dave’s book goes back a few years before that initially, the story of former groundsman Roy Oldfield who was at Turf Moor from the 1970s.

Both books have been selling well and if you want your copies signed, they will be only too happy to oblige tomorrow.

If you can’t make it, both books are available to purchase online from various sources including AMAZON1 & AMAZON2 (links provided for both books).

And don’t forget, for your Burnley FC book collection. Peter Howarth’s diary of the 2016/17, No Place Like Home, is also available from AMAZON in both book and digital form.
