Goalkeeper Marcel moves to Salford
Youth team goalkeeper Marcel Wusiewicz is on the move for a second time this season, this time moving to Salford City on a month’s work experience.
He joined the Clarets initially in 2014 but the Polish born goalkeeper has struggled for game time during his scholarship which began at the start of last season, with Connor King last season and now Adam Bruce the regular first choice goalkeepers. Even so, he’s been watched by the Polish FA and has received invitations to meetings for age group players.
Although not previously published, he has been at Padiham earlier this season but his move today makes him available for Salford’s for their FA Youth Cup tie at York tonight. However, should he play, it would leave him cup tied later in the competition with the rules the same as the FA Cup in terms of playing for more than one club.Share this page :
