Gray is 2015/16 Championship Player of the Year

For the second time in the last three seasons our leading goalscorer has won the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Year with Andre Gray beating Fulham’s Ross McCormack and Brentford’s Alan Judge to this year’s award.

Danny Ings lifted the award two years ago and went on to score 21 league goals in our promotion season. Gray passed that figure yesterday with the winner at Birmingham and he can also add a couple more goals this season that he scored for Brentford before his move to Turf Moor.

Up the Clarets would like to congratulate Andre on winning the award and hope that, like Ings did, he’ll soon be playing Premier League football.
