gray signsAndre Gray will miss Burnley’s next four games after receiving a four game ban following an FA hearing into his misconduct charge brought about by the exposing of tweets from four years ago on the day he scored his first Premier League goal against Liverpool.

Gray was charged with six breaches of FA Rule E3(1) and, because of the aggravated nature of the offences, also of FA Rule E3(2).

Andre admitted three of the six charges but denied the other three. However, he was found guilty of all six at a commission hearing yesterday.

He will also be fined £25,000 plus costs, he’s been warned as to his future conduct and has been ordered to attend a one-to-one FA education course.

Burnley FC and Gray have accepted the decision and he will now miss the games against Watford, Arsenal, Southampton and Everton. He will be free to return for the Manchester United game on Saturday 29th October.
