1415 burnley sean dyche 00 630x420Burnley are back in league action tonight with a tough game against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough. Both managers have had their say ahead of the game.

Carlos Carvalhal is in his first season in charge of Wednesday and things are going well for them right now, however, he warned: “To win against Burnley we must have 100% concentration, full energy, our fans must support the team from the first second and push at the end.

“If we can do that, then we can beat them, but it will be the toughest game we play this season. They are very organised, tough, competitive, compact and dangerous. Some aspects we are better and some they are better than us.”

He added: “The fans can help us because we need energy from outside. It will be very tough to beat them, we must be absolutely sure that everyone is at 100%, including the coaches, players and fans to give a lot of energy to the team.”

Sean Dyche said: “Sheffield Wednesday have brought in some very good players. They are financially strong but you get out on the pitch and it’s 11 v 11 and we have made a good show of ourselves in general this season away from home, particularly lately when we are taking these games on.

“It is down to us performing in the same manner. I think our away performances have been good for a while now. We had a little bumpy run, but I though in some of our performances we were still strong.

“We created chances and now we are taking those chances, and long may that continue.”
