JBG back in contention for Villa

Jόhann Berg Guðmundsson missed out on a return to the squad last week for the Norwich City game because of a lack of training but Sean Dyche has confirmed that he’s available for our game at Aston Villa this weekend.

Guðmundsson came off injured in the draw against Wolves and has since missed the league games against Liverpool, Brighton and Norwich.

Sean Dyche, at this afternoon’s press conference, said he is back in the thinking for Saturday as is Dwight McNeil who is expected to shake off a dead leg. The only player ruled out is Danny Drinkwater. He’s still not available but is now back on the grass.
