Lowton and Mee could return at Brighton
There’s some good news and some not so good news ahead of Saturday’s trip to Brighton with two of the back four close to a return from injury and a third being assessed.
Only James Tarkowski has avoided the defensive injury curse of recent weeks but the good news is that Matt Lowton, who has missed the last four games, and Ben Mee, missing for the last two, could both return to the squad for our game at the Amex Stadium in two days time.
Stephen Ward, who has been an ever present this season, came off just before half time in the win against Stoke on Tuesday and he is to be assessed tomorrow ahead of the trip to Sussex. Charlie Taylor (pictured) will deputise if Ward doesn’t make it and that would give the former Leeds full back his first Premier League start.
