Margaret Harrison passes away

The sad news reached us this evening that Mrs Margaret Harrison, daughter of former Burnley Football Club chairman Bob Lord and his wife Hilda, passed away two days ago at the age of 82.

Margaret was the younger of the two Lord sisters; Barbara passed away in 2010, and not only was her dad the chairman but her late husband Jeffrey Harrison was also a director of the club in the Lord era, standing down his position shortly after his father-in-laws death in December 1981.

Up the Clarets would wish to send on our condolences to Margaret’s family and friends at this time.
