1718 burnley ntumba massanka 00 500x500Burnley’s under-23 striker Ntumba Massanka, who is now in the last year of his contract at Turf Moor, has today joined National League club Dover Athletic on loan until January.

It’s not the first time he’s been out on loan and not the first time in the National League. He has been in League Two with both York and Morecambe but went out on loan to Wrexham during the second half of the 2016/17 and then the first half of last season where he scored a total of six goals including one spectacular effort.

He joins a Dover side who have had a difficult start to the season. in their first seven games they’ve recorded just the one win against Havant & Waterlooville to add to a 2-2 draw at Bromley. Those results have left them third from bottom, ahead of just Braintree and former Football League club Dagenham & Redbridge.

This comes after a 2017/18 season in which they missed out on the end of season play-offs only on goal difference.

Best of luck to Ntumba in this his latest loan in the National League.
