mcneil richardsonDwight McNeil and Lewis Richardson received call ups to the England under-21 and under-17 squads last month but both were forced to pull out with injuries. The good news is that both have again received call ups.

McNeil, who won under-20 caps during last season, will be hoping to make his under-21 debut and has been included in Aidy Boothroyd’s squad for a friendly against Slovenia in Maribor on Friday, 11th October which will be followed by a Euro U21 qualifier against Austria at stadium: mk.

Richardson will be in the under-17 squad that is facing some difficult games. On Thursday, 10th October and then two days later the opponents are Germany with Spain to follow on Monday, 14th October. All of these games will be played at the Pinatar Arena in Murcia, Spain.

Up the Clarets send best wishes to both players with the hopes that both make their debuts at the new level.
