Re: Atalanta v PSG

Were we linked with a player from Atalanta last summer? A couple of summers ago we were linked with Zapata who I think was a Napoli player on loan at Atalanta. Last summer we were vying with Atalanta for Malinovsky's signature. I was willing for them to beat moneybags PSG but it was not to be. Gasp...

Wilson was one signing that you have to say never came off. He came from Walsall and I think we paid around £30k for him. He’d started at Forest and went to Chesterfield after leaving us.
According to The Clarets Collection 1882-2018 the fee was £12k

I have just finished reading Christoph Biermann's book "Football Hackers: The Science and Art of a Data Revolution". A great read and Sean Dyche and Burnley FC get some very positive mentions in it. Haven't been through all the thread, so don't know if this has been mentioned, but will the white top we wore at West Ham be on sale? I liked that one.

I'd certainly buy that. Suspect it might be quite popular.
Weren't these being auctioned by the Club?

I do not think that the VAR decision was based on the number of times the journo said that Westwood rolled over (I did not notice him rolling over), but on the type of contact. Buendia clenching his fist, as others have said, proves that it was deliberate.
