Re: General Election Is On

I haven't seen much of Len McCluskey on TV today, he normally loves being on the box. Mind you, I suppose he's busy starting the process to choose the next Labour leader.

Re: Jeremy Corbyn

Corbyn missed a trick in this election: he should have promised to nationalise all the supermarkets and then give us all free food for the rest of our lives. This would have swung the decision in his favour. He could now be in number 10!

Good night for the Tories, even better night for Ringo. Ringo has stuck to his guns for months and been laughed at: as he says, you're not laughing now. Thank God we can now look forward to five more years of strong and stable Conservative leadership.

Re: sorry but its time for a change

Our midfield is awful (including everyone's favourite Westwood): they don't protect the back four, they struggle to find space, they can't pass to each other, and going forward if McNeil doesn't get a centre in we are a joke. We should have signed two midfielders, a right back and a forward with pac...

Re: Nottingham lukewarmspurts Versus MIGHTY CLARETS

I said at the beginning of the season if Cook, Westwood and Hendrick were our midfield and Lawton was at right back we would struggle. We should have signed two midfielders, a right back and someone with pace upfront, we haven't and we will struggle.

Things looked fine when Stokes and Pope were going along quite easily, then two poor shots from them both has led to a collapse. Those shots were not the shots of test match batsmen, when will we learn?
