I too sadly put money in the begging bucket for them ( early 80s ?) Talked to a few when we played them at their ground and didn't find one I thought was OK . Met one on holiday who came across as a good lad, hated the new fans that had come from London and switched to Brighton when premiership was ...

Why we are going down.
Individual errors
Missing easy chances
Good build up that comes to nothing once we get near their goal!
Not shooting when presented with openings.

Stupid question time!
Came home last night just in time to watch our game on Motd and the thoughts of an ex pro footballer on the penalty decision, now I was a bit tipsy but he explained why it was not a penalty. My question is do any ex professional footballers sit on var because a common criticism thrown at refs is tha...

Give it a rest, newcastle were poor and made that lot look a lot better than they are!
As for next season, if we keep this squad more or less the same we will smash the championship next season, I seriously think we will go well oast last year's points total.

Another way I look at perspective is most clubs in this league are owned by billionaire's, we are owned by people who are using our money made over the good years.
Also Manchester United are increasing their capacity to 90,000, will we ever get back to 30,000?

If this side stays together it is far too good for the championship but not yet ready for the massive leap to the premiership.
Readings record point total will be a thing of the past next year, we will smash it!!
Low on confidence at the moment but that will return with a few wins!

If we carry on like this no other team are coming in for our players when we go down, plus we have some very good players out on loan.
We are going to destroy the championship next season and come up with a team that know each other instead of strangers.
Hope this makes you feel better.

As someone who drank on Accrington Rd in the 70s and 80s I am amazed how many pubs and clubs have shut in that area, they were always full even through the week. Padiham Rd and rosegrove were good places to go but they also have lost most of the pubs, don't go out as much now because of the lost pub...

Think we need reminding of good times
I could say quite a few times but winning the league at deadwood last season will take some beating, never felt as good coming off their ground and that includes Wembley.

You could have 6 pints in different pubs within easy reach of the hop.
Accrington road is a big miss for me, 5 pubs and 3 clubs all full of characters, rosegrove and padiham Rd are more or less without pubs now and they too were great places to drink.
No wonder I don't go out as much nowadays!
