How long is it that this rule has been in place? I was always under the impression that a goal couldn’t be scored, direct from a goal kick? Either there has been a change or I have always been wrong!! I’m not sure, but Bosscat posted the proof at 21.14, so it’s been in place for at least 9 minutes.

That should be offside for me. Looks like the keeper hesitated in diving because he thought the player stood in an offside position was going to get a touch on it.

When the club offered the refund, they did tell anyone that taking the money out could mean they pay more for 2021/22 and that there may be no direct debit. Yes but as you say it caused confusion. The AR actually still makes a decision once the goal threat is over so for example if it is allowed to continue and the keeper makes a save which goes behind for a corner but the AR thought it was offside they would then raise their flag and it would be a fre...
