This is true. But that doesn’t make it right, or mean we have to accept that BFC has joined this club.

Re: Season tickets next season
They're still amongst the cheapest in the top 2 divisions and you have a choice not to buy one. Plus, if you're big on ethics, you're probably following the wrong sport. Obviously I have a choice to not to buy one, that doesn’t stop me having a view on the price rises. I don’t follow football for e...

Re: Season tickets next season
Or there will be a lot of people prepared to pay the 9th lowest ST price in the Championship to gamble on this team playing some decent football at the top end of the Championship. And if we are, the walk-on's will take the spares. Well yes, that’s what the owners are hoping will happen. That doesn...

How could they find out you have a Coinbase account? For the record, I know that the transactions are not stored on your phone, I know that the institution in question will give you all the details when asked, what I don't know is how the executor knows who to contact if there isn't a paper trail. ...

If I die, and my brother has to sort out my affairs, and all my transactions are on my mobile phone - how does he find out where my money is? Your transactions wouldn't be on your mobile phone. Re: Season tickets next season
From a personal point of view the price increases are negligible, however this still leaves a bad taste. Since the club was bought by ALK the strategy is pretty clear; charge more for 'premium' seats, increase the corporate offering, and edge out the concessions - who after all are getting the same ...

I use Apple Pay (never used Google Pay) which for some time was useable with a finger print. Then with my last couple of phones it's been facial recognition. I found that a faff (I like that word) at first but got used to it and find it much easier and quicker than getting cards out of my wallet. I...

Re: Google Contactless Pay
The point was that if your PIN is stolen, you can get a new PIN and the thief is no better off. If your keys are stolen, you can change the locks. If your fingerprint is stolen, then some thief has that fingerprint for ever- if it's any use. Maybe it isn't, and the fingerprint system is in practice...

Re: Internationals 26-3-24
Played pretty well and Kane probably would have filled his boots with some of the chances created in the second half. Obviously giving away two goals like that was criminal and not something we’re likely to get away with against a good team in the Euros.

Oh, I see. No, I wasn't saying that any thief can do it. But I suspect that there are some groups of quite clever thieves who could get systems in place to do it at speed. No idea, not my field. It is, however, possible to make a rubber finger with any given fingerprint on it, if you have the print. Any suggestion that it can't be done and never will be able to be done, is unlikely. But you said ‘Steal a phone, and if it has a good fingerprint anywhere on the case, y...

Re: Google Contactless Pay
Steal a phone, and if it has a good fingerprint anywhere on the case, you're in. One worry about fingerprint technology is that once the thieves have it (and they will, because no system is foolproof) then you're a bit stuffed. you can change your PIN number, but you can't change your fingerprints....

I pay for my season ticket via DD also (convenience more than anything else with the auto renewal), it's currently something like £36 a month for my seat in the Jimmy Mac Upper. Pure guesswork here, but let's assume a 10% rise as probably in the ballpark of what ALK intend to impart on us - that wo...
