I watched Bishop Auckland last week and every single corner in the match from both teams was threatening at pace in the ideal zone to attack. Five different players took about over a dozen corners . If lower league players can do it why can’t professionals who have the luxury of practicing every day ?

Interesting when both Amdouni and Ramsey walked around the pitch when substituted, total silence , didn’t notice any applause and appreciation, very telling, but quite rightly no boos, some clubs fans would have reacted quite differently I expect.

This one turns right not left off the A59 at the crossroads before you go down the steep dip and up the other side. You don’t go through any towns or villages just country lanes for what looks like five or six miles before you rejoin the A59’.

Thanks for the heads up, as I always come over to Burnley that way , but on Google maps it’s just showing a shortish detour around the problem , never taken that before when there’s been a closure as anyone else?

Roberts wasn’t our main problem this season. Had his ups and downs but never looked disinterested and gave his all. I’ll always respect him for giving Weghorst an earful in that international. Vitinho is what he is, a squad player and a gap filler. Certainly not the replacement we need for Roberts....

The problem is nearly all the players that started yesterday, even with another season in the championship will still not be good enough for the Premier League, the defensive players in particular because they don’t have the physicality.

Surprise surprise let’s give a new rookie ref to the premier league a Burnley game in their first one or two matches, like they have several times this season. A much less important team than the high profile big brands, in the event of bad mistakes being made.

Stat wise we may not have conceded a lot of goals from corners this season, but I seem to recall , like the Luton and Bournemouth matches lots of headers won by the opposition that went wide, but could easily have scored.

You are right but ultimately it was his decision and at the end of the match he made a sweeping action with his arm to indicate to Bellamy how Berger had handled the ball, which is not what Berger did as proved by the tv reply that Jones viewed from the monitor.
