Back in the 70s if you looked at some girls they would immediately say "Scen" or "what you scennin at". Playing hard to get naybe ( if we are still allowed to say that?) Sometimes the reply was " don't know, label's dropped off" or if you were more sensitive you put on a brave face and walked round...

I leave early most games. Soz. Why? Because the town has basically a packhorse route in and out and if I dont leave 1 minute before the end of injury time then it can take me 3hrs to get home. I hate leaving early. I hate the thought of missing something. I dislike not being able to clap the player...

Brownhill was only a 1 match suspension, so he will be available to face Utd. Having got my first season ticket in the sixties, thought next season would be my first one as an old codger.As my 65th birthday is 8th august i thought that would be the case, but alas the season kicks off on the 6th.Never mind have to wait another year!

Just read Phil Collins autobiography..so over the last few days I've trawled through Genesis's back catalogue and what a fine catalogue it is with two stand out albums A trick of the tail & Selling England by the pound They dont make music like this anymore, Footnote. Collins was a pretty talented ...
