That suggests that Dyche’s treatment of Vydra is because he wasn’t his choice of player. We have to remember that when shopping for a striker, it’s highly unlikely we will bring in anyone who is significantly better than what we already have. Different, maybe, but better puts them way out of our price range.

Maybe he thought playing the two today against `inferior` opposition would give them more chances than they are used to, more or less guaranteeing them a goal apiece.... They have shown today they are spectacularly out of form, so he now has to decide on playing them through it, or changing it there...
