Re: Concussion substitutes

Genuine head injuries are usually the result of a clash of heads, so there will usually be another player rolling around hurt. Another type of injury is when someone takes a full in the face blast maybe from a piledriver shot, or a keeper who dives at the feet of a player.

Re: Prostate cancer advice please- newly diagnosed

Cobble, you must have the test asap as it is win-win. If you get the all clear it’s a massive relief and if something is detected you can start the treatment sooner than you would have, so increasing you chances of a positive result. Good luck to all who have any form of cancer related illness.

Best sports bar in Side?

Help required. I’m staying at the Crystal Palace Hotel, Side and it doesn’t look like there will be a Sports Bar in the hotel for the Norwich game. Looks like I will have to venture into town unless I can find it on local tv in the hotel (my room). Much prefer a local bar, so if there is anyone out ...

Well to be serious for a moment if two top ranking ex- professionals like Alan The Sheep and Hibsclaret can’t agree, then I see no grounds on which to reverse the decision. Ref’s call. I admit my first opinion was in favour of Kane. That was because I’d concentrated on the defender. However when I t...

Kane in my opinion might have been clever and leant into the challenge, so I can’t see why it would be overturned, more a case of going with the ref who made the original decision. Some decisions will often split opinions and I think this is a case in point. Unless there is total agreement, no decis...

Zlatan wasn’t a youngster when he came to play in the Prem and there were plenty of critics who said he wouldn’t cope. Proved them all wrong and Messi would do the same. Said he wants to play for Burnley and will play for the same money as the captain of the club.

A central defender does not need to make a first team debut as young as you seem to think. The more precocious the talent the more likely they are to make an early first team debut. Centre backs and goalkeepers tend to debut later, unless they are seen as super talented from a young age. Those type ...

Well when you watch it again keep your eyes on the defenders back foot which is in the air, and it is that foot that causes James to go down. Just an accident, certainly not a dive and definitely not a card.
