Re: Burnley v Brighton - Player Ratings
Goalkeepers do operate on a different basis from outfield players when it comes to errors..You simply cannot do what Muric did yesterday - it's a stinker and anything else done in the game is irrelevant. The goalkeeper debate has become very political for some and it seems the side those people pick...

You're not comparing eggs with eggs though are you? In the EPL market, and even the EFL market, it is very competitive. That, i suspect, is how they have looked at it. Other clubs doing /getting away with it isn't a justification. It is, sadly, very much the case that all of the Premier League can ...

Fail to see how anyone could argue that’s anything but exceptional value for Premier League football tbf. I disagree. It's expensive compared to historical ticket prices for English football. In past years, wasn't the usual practice to say how much the tickets would cost post-early bird period? The change this year seems significant & I can't imagine that's about anything other than holding back unwelcome news of further price increases.

Shocking. Given where the money goes, and where the income comes from, to hit fans with such a rise is awful. I'm not a concession, but that increase is, to me, the most appalling. Difficult to justify unless you're looking to squeeze and maximise, which, of course, these owners are. That's the real...

Kompany makes a lot of strange decisions but encouraging his players to get booked or actively try to get sent off is most likely not in his tactics book yet. I too feel very disillusioned. Trying not to overthink, I put it down to 2 things: - the team is rubbish - I don't like how things are going off the pitch We've had both before but there's something very "un-Burnley' about the why of both this time. I'm baffled by how we're set up to play. Why do we play so much through O'Shea when he is our worst passer? Why play with wingers but very rarely cross the ball into the box? Why slow possession at the back to break the press when the opposition are sitting back? Nothing about it makes sense.

That suggests it’s his decision, which it isn’t. I love Jack Cork but a 25 man squad needs 25 players who can start and finish games, there’s very little room for bit part players, which he has been this season.
