With the limited players the manager had then to go on and win is just incredible. The manager does this type of thing all the time. Not sure what Is happening behind the scenes but if we lose him then type of thing goes with it.

We have deferred our holiday until next year, hopefully things will be a bit better then. My wife is shielding and didn’t fancy a fortnight of wearing masks, talking through Perspex screens and diving under tables every time we hear someone cough. Still far too risky in my opinion.

That is a good read, brought back a few memories.

As far as the Burnley players being encouraged to bring the back the ball for opponents I can only remember Ralph Coates doing this on a regular basis.

There were a few tales at the time of Frank being heavy on the sauce. Not sure about the truth behind this or whether I could blame him if it was true.

I was disappointed because Frank was on of my favourites as a player. Not the first good player to not make it as a manager.

Some of these statues are long overdue to be taken down. Let’s by all means keep them in museums with clear historical account of their achievements. But surely we know enough now to stop the public commendation of people who were involved in the slave trade, murderers and Nazi sympathisers.

So,
I can go outside and meet one person of my family, or anyone else as long as i social distance - stay at least 2_metres away. But only one person

I then go to a supermarket queue, all spaced 2 metres apart and I meet 2 people. This is ok
