Re: What did I miss - club for sale

Not sure what truth there is in this but I suppose the it will change hands one day. I just hope that the style of control and sensible management that has given us the relative success continues as long as possible. My worry is an owner comes in with less concern for the club than they have for the...

Just seen this, very sad news indeed.

I remember Alan many years ago since he was good mates with the brother of a good friend of mine who lived next door, about 50 years ago. Was a claret then and used to see him about and around on many a match day.

Really nice guy.

RIP Beeky.

Pieters was neat and tidy as a left sided midfield player on second half today. Whether that was a rehearsal for the premier league or just to accommodate today’s team time will tell.

Wells wasn’t exactly tearing trees up when he was here. If he was anywhere near up to it he would still be in and around the first team. Maybe the set up at QPR suits him better, good luck to him. But whatever happens with him it won’t be at Burnley.

I was arguing at half time that we should take either Wood or Barnes off and play McNeil as a no. 10 and replace Hendrick with Gudmundsson to keep more possession and take the game to them more. I think Dyche did move McNeil more central and we improved a lot.
