Having a squad large enough to rotate tactically just isn't viable for our Club hence having no one of real 'game changing ability' behind the main 14 or 15 outfield players when injuries hit. Today was just the worst performance in a series of poor performances.

Regardless of injuries there was enough in that starting line up to beat a team as poor as West Brom.

I suppose a point is a bonus because only one team tried to win that game.

I think you are right that Gordon Banks wore gloves in '66 but they resembled nothing like the sort that became commonplace in later years.
