Re: TV Fixtures for November

The Met can cope a bit better with a few games at once. They have Liverpool and Man Utd, and Villa and Wolves all in London on Sunday for instance. I would imagine the issues on that weekend will be relating to the journey(s) to and from London rather than actually in London. 3 sets of fans on the ...

Nice bloke Marlon. I watched a program last night on BBC2 called I love 1997 and they heavily featured Chumbawumba. They interviewed Boff who said it was strange to be sat at Turf Moor (I am a Burnley fan and have a season ticket) and hearing your song being played over the PA. It then showed a pack...

I said so many times that not all Defour's issues were physical. The fact he has played weeks ahead of where he was supposed to be with Burnley just supports this. The bloke was a fraud and a wage thief. Sadly some people believe him to be the best player since McIlroy. Good fecking riddance to his ...

I occasionally see a story in the online edition of The Sun, usually when it's linked from here or social media. It makes me laugh how they regularly use bizarre phrases or words that nobody ever uses in real life. My favourites are 'lags' instead of prisoners, and 'romped' instead of had sex, i.e....

Away at Bradford 1985. Pulled it back from 2 down to make it 2-2 in the 82nd and 85th minute only for Bradford to make it 3-2 with 3 mins to play. That extra point would have kept us from the 4th division had all other results remained as they did.

Why's that? This is 5 day Test cricket. Essentially you want two openers who are capable of batting for a full day, even if they only score at say 2 an over.. If at least one of them does that in most innings then the rest of the team can bat round them. Of course you might prefer us to just have a...
