One of the best players I have seen in a Burnley shirt. And I thought it was fitting that he played for us in our darkest season, as well. Not only played, but was a major part of our survival, scoring in the 2-1 win against Southend and a crucial 90th min penalty to equalise against Torquay. Witho...

Sorry to read this Roper and I really hope that the diagnosis is anything but MND. I watched a close family friend and known to many Claret following his diagnosis with MND a few years ago and it was heartbreaking. You have my very best wishes.

Having seen some of this game on a stream on my phone whilst out for dinner last night, I observed the following: Kane was lucky to stay on the pitch after what seemed a deliberate elbow into the face of Gabriel. He looked round for the defender then raised his elbow. Saka's penalty appeal was a div...

What odds on a Tarkowski goal or assist? Far post corner and he comes round the back of our defenders. As he did in the cup game at Goodison and after our defending, or lack of for the Wolves set piece equaliser, I doubt we have learnt a lesson.

He's a great to me as I genuinely believe we wouldn't have had the subsequent Premier League seasons without his achievement. I remember going to Chesterfield in the forerunner to the Sherpa Van in 1986 I think with Stevie2112 amongst others. We won 2-1 in front of a crowd of just 1053. Could this be the smallest attendance ever for a Burnley game (pandemic gates excluded)

If we had played the season with Muric in goal, Cullen in midfield in place of Brownhill and had a striking option like Fofana and or Foster, we wouldn't be in the mess we find ourselves in. And the blame for that can only land at the door of VK.
