Re: Whos honest enough to admit eating SD humble pie

From what I've seen, unless you're City or Liverpool backed by zillions and zillions of pounds, attacking, attractive football seems to have very little to do with defending or stopping the opposition having frequent free pops at your goal. Just and observation like. When it comes to attractive foo...

As it's thier first season back (and they have done well) for all the Sheffield have been brilliant we are only 3 behind.
Strange game.
It feels that Sheff United are about to be gobbled up by the Peloton - namely the teams on 30 points and spat out at the back.

The hatred Pickford gets is unreal for being our number one.
He doesn't need that, there's already a few silly posters on here who doubt him.
It's certainly not hatred. He just makes routine saves look the equivalent of Gordon Banks saving Pele's header!

He clearly plays up to the cameras.

Re: some dispute our claim about Popes No1 status

But modern football has changed things a bit. It seems that how a keeper passes a ball is just as important as the saves they make. Likewise, fullbacks don't have to be good at defending as long as they are good at attacking. That's why Pickford gets picked, simply because he can pass a ball better ...

They've got injuries which is good, especially Rashford but largely depends on what tactics they deploy. They have the physique and athleticism to neutralise how we play. Mourinho was smart with his tactics. Hopefully OGS wont be. Difference is Mourinho is a good manager, OGS is someone who isn't!
