Re: The objective for the rest of the season

Whether do-able or not, and regardless of whether Forest get any deduction the aim should be to gain six points on them in the next eight matches.

That would leave us going into the last game a win away from going above them at the end of the season.

It's as simple as that.

Why do we need a left back? In Charlie Taylor we have a good quality Prem quality solid defender. Whilst his attacking abilities might not be that good our major problem has been defending and he is far better than most in our defence at doing exactly that. The problem that the club and VK in partic...

The best outcome possible for this season is Leicester and Saints to go up and Leeds to win the playoffs, will make next season much easier, it certainly won’t be a walkover like last season, we don’t play like that anymore. Very little. If Everton were to get some points back then we’d be having to catch teams who are running at around a point per game. To get to that level by the end of the season we’d need another 26 points from 17 games. The phrase "Too good to go down" probably applies to Everton in the current ci...

I don't think there's any corruption as it actually helps the PL brand when smaller clubs do well. I always wondered what would have happened if we'd have got to Wembley in the League Cup. Would we have maintained our play-off push, or would getting to the final been too much of a distraction?
