Re: How can we stop this downward spiral and survive this season?

Firstly, we need to go back to basics. Organised, solid and ultimately difficult to score against - that we are not, and there lies a big problem. Longer term, but ideally this month (!) we need to upgrade the right back, and bring in a central midfielder who can get up and down the pitch. I think w...

Re: Team for Peterborough

Difficult one, in current form, and given our cup form over the last few years I'd be tempted to put out a strong side. We need a win, some confidence and give the fans something to cheer about. Fully expect a much changed side though. I would like to see BPF in goal though.

He was excellent in that game at Bournemouth, the injury really was a shame. It obviously takes time to come back from a serious injury, but what I find most disappointing is his seemingly lack of appetite in getting back to any sort of form. The game just seems to pass him by. Another one that need...

Taylor must have got at least 6 or 7 decent crosses into the box 2nd half?
I'm not just talking about today's game, where Taylor did have a decent spell in the second half, but in general we don't get enough quality service into the front two.

Has his faults, but still our best chance of a goal. He needs better service, McNeil aside we barely ever get the ball into dangerous areas. As for being our last signing of first XI quality - agree, and that is our downfall.

Really poor since the goal. Prime opportunity to put the keeper under pressure yet we're intent on playing sideways and backwards.

A hugely damaging defeat with the next run of games coming up.

An aging squad and tactics will eventually bite you. Several awful transfer windows and the manager's inability to inject pace and fresh ideas are coming home to roost. Unbelievably painful watching us at the moment.
