It certainly doesn't feel like the 'natural' time for VK to leave. Still lots of work to be done. Moyes would be a step backwards in footballing terms in my opinion. A manager that deserves a lot of respect. But would be surprised if our board wanted someone of his style and profile.

Would be interested to get the thoughts of the 'Kompany Out' brigade on another Premier League club wanting to poach VK.

Sounds as though this won't be the only area to go to safe standing. Longer term everyone that wants to stand could be able to stand and everyone that wants to sit should be able to sit without their view being obstructed by standing fans. Glad to hear that JBL and Esteve look to be signing.

Not overly fussed if we lose the rest, though you'd like to think all three of them would be decent enough to perform well in the Championship. Big money though. We can probably find cheaper hence signing Sambo instead of Assignon.

I am not familiar at all with the ins and outs of how a coaching team works, but I don't see why we need a set piece coach when we have one of the Premier League's best ever centre backs as our manager. I don't know who they are but I can't see how their knowledge/skill could be better than VK's.

I share ClaretTony's concerns about using supermarket car parks. Maybe nip in and buy something cheap, a sandwich, chewing gum, drink for the journey back, anything. They can't give you a fine if you're a paying customer and leaving the car park within the allocated time frame.
