Re: Chairman Pace
Not sure what he's expected to say. He's hurting just like the rest of us and probably more so given the investors he'll have snapping at his coattails. He is unaware of what has gone wrong on the pitch, otherwise he would have fixed it! They've maintained, publicly, that it's a multi year strategy,...

All of the above but also if you have an extra hour it's worth going down to the cruise quay adjacent to the Pan Pacific hotel ( a walk from downtown/Stanley park). I wonder how many Burnley fans were at that game on Friday in Toronto! My youngest daughter has just moved to Toronto from Vancouver and my son was over there last week visiting. They all went to the game. He's now deliberating whether to move over there and was trying to encourage the wife and I to...

Re: Mindset for season ahead
I broadly agree with this mentality. In my case I'm not expecting any points until the end of October by which time the squad will have gelled and we'll be through a very tough set of games. However the games from the end of October look to be winnable for a while. We're already showing signs in sma...

Sounds like they are after an architect, throwing the latest IT buzzwords around, and 'pumping it up' and calling it a directorship. Bit like the abbreviation VP is used now. The acid question is ' is this a seat on the board'? Very likely not or it would have been mentioned. A board director has a ...

Irrelevant really. Would only have been replaced by another 'born to lose' character. Won't change until the FA changes, a long wait. Need some more abrasive characters in the team and management set up before we actually win anything. Southgate is good at handling the FA and HR. He needs a bulldog ...

Good point and most seasoned Burnley fans would accept that scenario. However the worry is the premiership revenue we lose and the rather shaky looking foundations of our balance sheet which might either leave us at best with a more frugal attitude to players contracts and infrastructure investment ...

Not sure why you'd have problem with the word misrepresented. A very accurate and honest reflection of the game. We've been here before.
