The artist list is taken from the book by Steve Chapples. It was reissued a few years ago and was on sale in the Electron in Burnley.
A lot of the soul artists would appear at the Imp around 11pm and then play the Twisted Wheel all nighters in Manchester later on.

The 1975 referendum was to join the Common Market. It has morphed into the European union. But I'll let that go. The 1975 referendum result was implemented. That's democracy. The 2016 referendum result is yet to be implemented. That's democracy denial. By all means, campaign for another referendum....

I thought it worked well yesterday on the Turf. Not many saw Adam's foul, Barnes was offside for Wood's goal, and Gudmonsson won the ball fairly .
