Re: Padiham FC
An enjoyable game but wrong result from my point of view Padiham certainly had more than enough chances to win at least they still have the play offs in sight.Good luck to Colne in the final even if their fans were getting a bit too cocky tonight( only kidding)

Re: So who's renewed their ST?
I haven't renewed yet it's not that I don't want to but the seats I'm sat in are awful I can't make my mind up to chance it and really hope for a seat swop or just pick my games and knowing for certain I get better seats than the ones I'm currently sat in

We went up a division quite a while since and had to do a lot of ground improvements then.If memory serves me right we came back down after one season and did more harm to the club than good.Having said that I would like to see them promoted talking to the powers that be at theclub they say they cou...

In terms of results 1979 /80 was a poor season our first win didn't come while late November 5-3 against 9 man Cambridge Utd. And only won 5 more games all season ending in relegation to the old 3rd division for the first time in our history

Re: what is YOUR favourite era watching the Clarets ?
1973-74 is my favourite season a great side with a good FA cup run even though I don't think I'm fully over the semi final defeat. And I also enjoyed the period from 1979 to 83 it was when I started going to away games regularly and even being in the 3rd division for the first time in our history pla...

Knowing now first hand what damage these accusations can do to a family i really believe naming anyone should not happen until a person is found guilty. But the headline from the opening posts link is nothing short of a disgrace implying the accused have actually commited the crime

I went to one in the early 70s which I thought was at the cat's whiskers the only thing I can remember is a show on stage which was a diddy men themed with lots of singing and custard pies. With both my parents no longer ...
