Re: Digital tickets
All ours appeared to work OK at turnstiles, however one family of 5 where split into 3 different areas.
Surely if all bought together then they should be sat together?
Secondly considering the small allocation we took / where given I found it rather strange to hear “Liverpool accents” around us.

He was outside the ground post match with Samuel Bastien.
Some of our party had photo's taken with them and a comment was made to Manuel saying "Thank you for scoring a Deadwood"
His reply was "That's OK, it's cool"

Re: England v Ireland Test match
I heard one bit of clarets related news today. One of the Test Match Special summarisers, Alex Hartley, confirmed that she is a Burnley fan, albeit a partially lapsed one. Just looked at this and spotted that her Dad is David Hartley - Is this the same David Hartley who played in our 1968 Youth Cup...

Post by Claretincraven » Fri May 12, 2023 9:52 am Remember Dieter very well, my Uncle farmed the neighbouring farm to him, I too have his book. We used to help him with haymaking. I’m Skipton born and bred, still live there. Became a Burnley fan because my Dad drove the Pennine bus to the games from...

Re: Where are Clarets fans from outside of Burnley?
Born at Cawder Ghyll, Skipton although we lived in Sutton-in-Craven, have since moved the many miles firstly to Crosshills and now Glusburn. Taken to my first game in 1967 by my uncle and his friend Dieter (An ex POW who farmed in Skipton), sadly both are no longer with us but I still have a copy of...

Watching Villa v Leicester, Villa just had a goal ruled out as Kasper Schmeichel had one hand on ball and deemed to have it under "control". Based upon the 12.16 ruling posted by NewClaret earlier in this thread then the Newcastle goal should also have been ruled out. All we can ask for is the refer...

Not exactly a local saying but something the people I travel to games with laugh about anyway.
In Burnley if you have Pie and Peas it's usually had with pickled red cabbage yet over this side of the hill it's always had with Mint Sauce.
Just where is the change over point from one to t'other.
