May 22nd 2022 Driving home from the Newcastle relegation game. Relegated. No manager. A string of key players lining up to walk away. Brink of financial melt down. etc. I can take whatever this is, as for me we are in way better shape than I was expecting. Pace and VK have worked wonders IMO. Worst ...

Only 3 games last season in the Prem did we better the gate of yesterday 20,600.

Liverpool
Newcastle.
we had more in yesterday than when we played City at home....
oh, & I enjoyed the game if not the result.

Emotion based upon nostalgia.
Let's be honest for a moment. In the big games we simply have repeatedly not shown up.
Norwich - home & away
Newcastle - away.
Watford - home
Brentford - away...
Not a single performance, not one....

Jeff Brown was on good form.
Enjoyable day really.
Seen enough from our team to be confident we will win 9 or 10 games.

For sure we will play better & lose!
As may have said, the week off will help us big time.
Hard to imagine its mostly the same players that destroyed Palace 7 days ago.
Get to 36 / 37 points and prepare for reinforcements in the Summer.

Still buzzing.
the keeper collision with Ashley B, in my view was very similar to the one Vs Chelsea in the first minutes at home earlier in the season.
The ref didn't give it and VAR didn't seem to check.
not so important I guess...

Reported article 'speculation' very close to the reality. However, lots of very successful football clubs are run using this sort of model. would have been easy to let heads go down after the Wood / VAR goal was chalked off, however, we kept cool, pushed on and scored again before half time.
