Re: The pitchside screen
I suspect the problem was that there was a presumption that there would be no need to review any infield decisions that might benefit us. The screen was therefore turned off to save electricity.

I don't live in Burnley, never have, probably never will. Wasn't born there but been an absent supporter all my life.Cannot relar=te to the reason for the moaning tbh. Re: Buying a house isn't difficult.
When youngsters wake up to the fact that they might have to move to an area they can afford then I'll listen to people saying they cannot get on the housing ladder. My children would love to live near me but the truth is they cannot afford to so they bought somewhere they could afford. Luckily they ...

Not sure why goalkeepers are so protected in terms of them keeping the jersey. So often you see different outfield players used against different teams to counter an opposition threat but rarely with keepers.

It is all a bit of a problem area. PSA tests are notoriously inaccurate with false postives and false negatives. Ecover is much better environmentally but it simply doesn't clean stuff well. Original fairy seems to be the best for actually cleaning stuff. We use Ecover on Scout camp - 11 days, 60-70 people in a field and we must get through gallons of Ecover because you need so much of it. As we are draining s...

You will need a Nikon body to use with the lens. D500 is an excellent choice. You might also consider a Nikon D850 (better choice) given the relatively small difference in price used. ALPS is a fantastic photographer but I'm the one who deals in cameras, he just uses them brilliantly! The alternativ...

Take shorts not trousers
Take a shell waterproof not an insulated one
Crocs are your foot's best friends
Guy lines on your tent are to be used in high winds
Cotton to be avoided in the rain, it takes days to dry

I am glad to see him back and have never questioned the move away. He agreed to come to Burnley with a clause allowing him to go if we got relegated. We signed up to it, he signed up to it. Why shouldn't he show the ambition to play at the highest level available. In his case it was a loan abroad, W...

Re: Ashes third test
Your correct. However, I don’t find England's batting in this series entertaining. It's very frustrating. In 2020 your have about 75 minutes to bat and wickets aren't that important. In tests you should be batting for at least a day in the first 2 innings. To do that needs ability to play straight ...

The key to test match cricket has always been keeping focussed. England seem to be unable to do this with the bat. Anybody been to Za-Za's to eat? That's an experience....and cheap-as-chips in city terms. I know my grub.....give it a go...down in the waterfront area. It's a bit different 😋 Yes and it is awful, world food of fat and carbs, great for kids parties where they can binge on crap but no good otherwise.
