Another vote for the Portsmouth away game. I had my 2 kids with me and had to get them to stand on cardboard to try and insulate their feet from freezing to the terracing !!

Used there as changing rooms when I played for Nelson Stanley in the 70's. I remember being thrown into the pool after one game.....through the ice; kit and boots on and a quick panic to find the hole in the ice to get out. Happy days lol.

Another for Nelson Stanley around 1974 time. My younger brother, who unfortunately succumbed to the big C this week, also played in the same team as goalkeeper. Remember tough feisty games against Colne Sacred Heart as there were a good smattering of St Ted's lads in both teams.
