Re: HAPPY MONDAY!. FOREST, points deduction?
I'm not sure I've seen a published report which fully explains/justifies Evertons ten point deduction (subsequently reduced to 6 pts) and now Forests deduction. If it's just a few old dodderers discussing it over beer and sandwiches a few smart barristers will pick holes all over the place. They hav...

Re: Arijanet Muric
Made Kompany look foolish. Massive performance. We were playing against ten men for the bulk of the game but you wouldn't have known it. Brentford were unlucky in not being awarded a penalty. We scraped a win. Some big saves from Muric just as there have been big saves from Trafford previously. Tim...

Re: MURIC IS IN!
It was probably time to give Trafford a break as much for his own mental health as anything else. It can't be much fun having to pick the ball out of the net 2-3 times per game. Brentford playing with ten men from early on which means regardless of Muric keeping a clean sheet, it's no longer possibl...

Very impressed with Rovers gutsy performance last night. Particularly given the backdrop of our 2-0 defeat against Newcastle in late September. With our recent results/gutless performances and insipid post match drivel from Vinnie, I'd imagine that we'd expect a 3-0 defeat in the return fixture. Let...

Well we're having a laugh at the tennis balls, but Rovers showing more fight than we have recently. Three shots on target by the 27th minute.
That's three shots more than we managed at the Palace in the entire game.

I understand the sentiments of the OP. In close on fifty years of following/watching the Clarets I don't think there's one season (even inc the mid 80's) where we have been so wide of the mark that we've been ten points adrift with a third of the season to go. I've just done ten minutes of research re what being in the PL is worth in financial terms terms. As of May 22, Burnley gained £106m simply by being members of the PL. Tarks is a very solid defender with the occasional headed goal from set pieces in his locker but he doesn't have 'all rounds' skills demanded at the very top. I always thought his distribution was lacking.

I once had a VW with a similar problem; the solution wasn't the EGR valve itself, but the actuator.
