RIP Dave. Loved the Hairy Bikers TV programmes and have a few of their books; recipes were always reliable.
They also had a Sunday morning programme on Planet Rock, which combined great music and cooking tips.

After the highs of last season, I struggle to comprehend how the current management has managed to so completely trash that legacy. The disconnect between the fans and the team / club, is so dispiriting. What has happened to our club?

I think part of it is down to the feeling that we are a bit of an irritant for not buying in wholeheartedly to the project of shopping window football to get investors money back with interest, high merchandise and concourse prices and generally grating razzmatazz with sod all interest in our herit...

People travelling up the A1(M) to Newcastle. There is a crash just south of Newcastle, with traffic backed up to Durham. Slow going, but traffic is moving.

Definitely sounds like a blocked drain hole. They get blocked with gunk that then freezes. Lots of info on t’internet on how to unblock it.

No;That’s the bus station and multi storey car park, with the walk way over to the Arndale shopping centre.
The nightclub (Sands and others) was under the east side of the shopping centre. One of the few places I’ve been thrown out of ;)

Ordered mine within 2 hours of going on sale. Opted for ‘collection’ because of the postal dispute. Went in to collect them yesterday; we are on Row 40 (very back row) of block 332 :o

Re above: on Colne Rd near Duke bar- does any one else notice that permenant eyesore of a garage shell built next to a taxis office. It's been in that state ( no roof, door or windows) for the best part of 30 years. Surely there must be a legal process to make the owners improve the building. I not...

After the match, the closure of Belvedere Rd at the Queens Park junction for 25mins, was a frustration. It was a long wait for the Blackburn coaches to come through.

A lot on here asking VAR or no VAR, like that is the only option. I wanted VAR… I wanted VAR scrapped… Now I realise I still want VAR, but the VAR we were promised not the one we got. Serious referring errors, and clear off sides that are missed. Not VAR for promoting referee’s into the game master...
