The autograph hunters are most likely from St Ted's. I think the lad on the right was in my class.

Wake up ....has served us well. I'd stick...but if we twisted I'd go Mr Brightside or maybe something Tom Pettyish.

I must day Kevin Long gave a masterclass in the art of central defending. He was more secure than the Tarks - who lost his man for their disallowed goal. Go Kevin!

Ace choices here...Great 'length of the field' dribbles. A lot of donkey defending it has to be said. But could anyone else in the game have done what Messi did there? He defied gravity and he bent space-time!

Long is one of the first names on the teamsheet for ROI. He would have been first on the sheet for us by now if either Mee or Tarks or had lost form or been injured long term

Long has always been Premier League class. Isn't he first name on the ROI team sheet? Only reason he's not in the team every week is because Mee and Tarks rarely have bad games. They are undroppable.

He was about 6ft tall at age fourteen and I was three foot nowt. But we got on well as a mob and bucket. He was...

Back in the day, they used to do collections at Lancashire League matches for any outstanding performance. It was a great tradition. I doubt it still happens. Worsely Cup Final 1976 - Chris Flood
There were 5,000 (probably many more) people at Bacup Road that Sunday afternoon. I was privileged to be there. Chris Flood, a young spin bowler took 7-40 in 10 overs. One of the greatest days cricket I've ever witnessed. Anybody remember that day?
