I'm shielding too. Just had 6 months isolation during chemo as no immunity and now another 3 months!!!! Hope all are bearing up and keeping their minds occupied. There are pasties in Devon, (where it was first made), so this protected status only applies to the word Cornish and the county of origin. Devon pasties or (oggies) are fine my me. Got to try Ron Dewney's oggies in Guzz (Plymouth).

If you're in a defined benefit scheme, dont mess around with it, its as good as you can get. Take more than 25% of its value in cash and youll be taxed on it, possibly at higher rate if its over £50k.

Was a Club cyclist and have done lots of sportives/audax events and LEJOG. I hung up my cycling shoes a few years ago as its getting too tough to be enjoyable!

Kudos to anyone who works hard at their sport to achieve the best they can be.

Recovery rate is an accepted measurable, but still fairly specific to the type of activity. All round fitness I would say would be a mix of the best attributes of all different sports, so no one group can claim to be the fittest as another group has more endurance/strength/flexibility. CT was the reason all Uniteds forays down the left came to a halt and went inside, making them generally play narrow against our 2 CBs. Noted on commentary how narrow they were last night. Suits us all day long.

Watford Gap is about 90 miles north of Watford!

Agree its a drab town, they're not sure if its in London or not. Off to work for three days in Northwood tonight, 2 miles from the ground. Hopefully see a few Hornets fans and stick it to em.
