February 21st 1970. This indeed was the last 5 goal winning margin in the top flight prior to today. As you say, a Kindon hat trick plus an own goal & 1 from Arthur Bellamy gave us the win in front of just 11185 fans. Prior to this, the next most recent was on April 21st 1964 when we beat Spurs 7-2...

Tottenham are facing allegations of breaching transfer rules during Jermain Defoe's switch to Portsmouth in 2008, with the FA saying it is prepared to review evidence after initially taking no action 15 years ago. Breaching FA rules on agents has led to clubs being hit with points deductions, suspe...

Muric drastically improved from then, and calamities aside had always offered a ton in buildup. Muric with Ekdal in front of him was a very assured keeper. Bellis returning threw it back a step, Bellis tended to sit weirdly deep and had a habit of dropping very deep and rightwards which often wreck...

Thanks Darthlaw I've been called many things in my life never a revisionist before!
I just feel that losing a ball 30 or 40 yards out is preferable to losing it less than 18 yards out. Before anyone says it it would be better not to lose it at all.
